Pushpalata  – meaning 'a cluster of flowers' – was founded by Priya in 1992 in her mother’s name to give a platform to her students, both Kathak and Odissi.  It is the first classical Indian dance company to be formed by dancers trained solely in the UK.

Pushpalata offers performances in Kathak, Odissi and Folk styles, as well as dance dramas.
